Why OneQR
Free shouldn't mean temporary
Many “free” QR generators make money by switching your printed codes off. We don't.
OneQR
- Static codes work forever — the data is inside the code
- Dynamic codes are never switched off to make you upgrade
- Download without an account, an email or a watermark
- SVG and PDF included, free
- Made in your browser — what you type stays on your device
Typical “free” generators
- “Free” dynamic codes often stop working after a 7–14 day trial
- Downloads often need an account or email first
- Watermarks or branding on free codes
- Print formats like SVG and PDF often behind a paywall
- Your data processed on their servers
Based on the published free-plan terms of popular QR generators in 2026. Terms change — check each provider before you print.
Dynamic QR codes
Change it after printing
Printed a thousand flyers and the link changed? A dynamic QR code opens a OneQR address that you can point somewhere new at any time — the printed code keeps working.
- Edit the destination whenever you like
- See scans by day, country and device
- Pause it, set an expiry or add a password
- 25 free dynamic codes — never deactivated

FAQ
Questions, answered
Is OneQR really free?
Yes. Static QR codes are free with no limits and no watermark, and you don't need an account. A free account (Google or email) adds 25 dynamic QR codes with scan analytics, hosted pages, a menu or shop catalog and a digital business card.
Do the QR codes expire?
Static codes never expire: the information is stored inside the code. Dynamic codes keep working as long as your workspace exists — we never deactivate them to push you onto a paid plan.
What's the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static code always opens what it was made with. A dynamic code opens a OneQR address first, so you can change the destination after printing and see how many people scan it.
Is my data private?
Static codes are made entirely in your browser. What you type — including Wi-Fi passwords — is never sent to OneQR.
Which file format should I download?
PNG works everywhere on screens and in documents. For print, use SVG or PDF — they're vector files that stay sharp at any size.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Upload it under Logo; OneQR raises the code's error correction automatically so it still scans. Always test the final code with your phone before printing.
